Volunteer Decorating Opportunity
If you have a flair or interest in decorating, this may be for you. The nominating committee is seeking an individual to provide over-sight for church decorating. Events such as Easter, Christmas & Good Friday are made all the more special when the church decor reflects these themes. If this catches your interest or you would like more information, please get in touch with the church office.
Opportunity to Serve with Homemade Meals
If anyone would like to help out with meals when the need arises in our church family or if you know of a family in need, please call the Church office at 403-239-6200. The help that it gives, to people receiving them, is so very much appreciated.
Ladies White Cross Work Bee
You do NOT have to sew to participate in White Cross & Waffles, date TBD. Childcare will be provided so you do not even have that as an excuse! We will start at 8:30 am with a waffle feast then at 9:00 the work begins with measuring, cutting, ironing, sewing, & serging. We do need people who cannot sew to run between the various stations and cut ties and iron blankets. Besides that, it is fun to chat and get caught up in what’s going on in everyone’s lives!
White Cross Ministry is a thriving and vital service to hospitals in Cameroon, Africa. The part we play is by making baby layettes that are given to every new mother. A layette consists of a colorful blanket, jacket and diaper. To get a visual of how important White Cross click HERE and watch a short video clip. Please sign up at the info Centre so we know how much food to prepare.
